As solution is based on WordPress framework, the WP backend provides features to manage menus, site pages, theme and extra plugin installations and settings, content categories and tags.

Note: Screenshots, features may be outdated as solutions is being continuously improved. To see latest options and settings you can just install latest PaidVideochat plugin in a WordPress setup and review backend. Although live streaming and features are not available without proper hosting, backend sections can be review on a regular web host.

Solution implements special menus and pages in WP backend for managing specific settings and features:

Plugin Settings and Features

Backend includes:
– a setup tutorial with setup overview links / extra documentation links / shortcodes and parameteters
– a setup wizard that detects configuration steps and guides trough setup
– extensive settings section organized in tabs, with specific documentation
– backend feature pages including for performer approval, statistics, session logs, streaming logs

Plugin adds multiple features to backend including:

Webcams List

From Webcams list, administrators can review webcams, adjust specific settings like cost per minute, earning ratio (how much performer earns), featured listings.

Users List

From users list, administrators can review user administrative records, approve/disable users, review transactions and adjust balance.

Moderation Features

  • Performer Verification & Approval
    Verify performers / models before allowing their content to be seen on site. Solution includes an verification & approval system for performers/models:

    • Configure verification information required from Live Webcams : Settings > Account Records in backend. Administrative records show on registration page (performer registration page demo) and may include document uploads for proof of age, proof of address.
    • If necessary, include extra instructions in Performer Dashboard, from Settings > Performer, like requirement to send certain documents to an email address or link to a page with detailed instructions.
    • Also set Enable Performers Without Verification: No , so performers can only setup webcam listings and go live after approval. Same for Studios if enabled.
    • Review and approve users from Live Webcams : User Approve . Approval info is also available for each users in the Users page in backend.
  • Moderator Roles
    • Moderator roles can be configured from plugin settings, Moderator tab, to actively moderate activity on site including live chats.
    • Moderators can access group chats (including paid) silently and kick users. Moderators don’t generate client charges and can’t trigger paid features like private requests, tips. Restrictions like geofencing, location bans, access lists do not apply to moderator roles.
    • Moderator roles are also supported by MicroPayments plugin for paid content. Moderators can access content without paying, to review for compliance.
  • Report Features
    • The Live Support Tickets & Contact Forms plugin enables site users to report content or any issues.
    • Supports showing a Report button on content pages, including rooms, videos, pictures and other custom post types.
    • Allows users to contact site support to report any incidents.

Lists and updates webcams using AJAX. Allows filtering and toggling filter controls.

pstatus: “” = all performers (default) / online = online (in public or private chat) / public = in public chat (online and not in private) / private = in private shows / offline = currently offline

studio_id, author_id = filter based on studio or author account ID
menu = 0/1 show filters as accordion menus instead of dropdowns

[videowhisper_register_form role=”client” terms=”” privacy=””]

Display a registration form for a specific role type, for setting up dedicated role registration pages in frontend. Automatically setup from Settings > Pages. Users submit account details including password and accounts are activated by link in email. Activation email is configurable from settings. Can show custom Terms and Privacy page links.

Display login form. Can include registration links for all roles or a specific role. Can show custom Terms and Privacy page links.

[videowhisper_register_activate]

Required in a page for frontend registrations to confirm using link from email. Automatically setup from Settings > Pages. Activation email is configurable from settings. [videowhisper_callnow roomid=”post id”] Shows a Call Now button if calling is enabled or Join if not.

[videowhisper_cam_instant]

Instantly setup and access own webcam room.

[videowhisper_cam_random]

Random videochat room as configured in backend.

Show webcam previews (video).

Shows videochat application. Automatically detects room if shown on webcam post. Room name is listed in Performer Dashboard Overview. Can also use post ID as webcam_id.

Shows studio dashboard.

[videowhisper_account_records]

Shows account status and allows updating administrative records for current user. Administrative records refers to custom fields defined by administrators that users can fill. These are only accessible by adminstrators and can be used for identity verification, collecting payout info.

Backend Demo / Review

If you want to review backend features for latest version, including plugin settings tabs, you can install and activate the plugin on your own WordPress installation. Without streaming hosting the software will not work but you will be able to access backend configuration pages, to review in detail.
